We've finally finished making the desktop non-VR version of the game! Although, we will continue to use it in development, since it is much faster to run for testing.
This time, I'd like to take a brief look at performance and optimization. As I've tested this more on the Quest (the main target platform) the performance issues have proven to be a barrier to playing the game long enough to get a feel for it. What is the simplest change we can make to improve performance so we can get some good feedback from playtesting? Let's find out!
